Gain an awareness and appreciation of the Blockchain technology and its impact in the business world.

Blockchain technology is on the rise. With the technology being adopted at a rate faster than anticipated across industries - ranging from real estate, financial services to legal service - having a basic understanding of Blockchain is a must for everybody. New job roles ranging from support to development roles involving Blockchain are expected to grow as the technology becomes more widely adopted. At some point, your organisation is likely to introduce Blockchain as the new enabler to your operations or in your existing job role, and you may be required to integrate the technology into your existing ecosystem.

Funding Incentives
 

1. SkillsFuture Series

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible for 70% course fee funding (excluding GST) for successful enrolment into approved courses under the Programme. This funding is applicable to both individual and company sponsored participants.

Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above will enjoy 90% course fee funding (excluding GST).
 

2. SkillsFuture Credit**

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits (up to S$500) to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Applications via MySkillsFuture.sg must be made within 60 days before course commencement. Please click here for the user guide on how to submit your claim.
 

3. Absentee Payroll

Companies who sponsor their employees for the course may apply for Absentee Payroll via the SkillsConnect system. For more information, please visit SkillsConnect.

Speaker/Trainer Bio

Dr Suen Chun Hui

Chun Hui is an engineer and researcher with a PhD in Electrical Engineering with specialisation in trusted systems and virtualisation, with over 10 years of experience in applied research, software development and deployment.

He has worked on both public and private blockchain technologies, as well as linux kernel development, different hypervisors, cloud and data infrastructures. He has successfully developed and deployed cloud, big data and blockchain solutions, especially in the banking and finance industry.

Chun Hui's skillset includes having a deep technical background in security, system infrastructure and blockchain, and a strong software design, development and devops experience.
