Building Business Intelligence and Analytics Function

Programme Code: CRS-N-0045023

Overview

Business Intelligence (BI) has become an integral part of most companies today. However, many companies struggle as the applications of BI become more widespread, while at the same time the complexity of data continuously increase.

In the era of analytics, it is crucial to create a BI strategy that is aligned with your overall corporate strategy. The ability to evaluate large amounts of data and subsequently use this data to identify new opportunities and create an effective strategy based on these insights, can provide an organisation with all the information it requires in order to understand the many changes and challenges that occur within their own business and the market in which they operate. However, BI success requires more than just a strong technology platform to crunch data. It takes laser focus on processes and personnel — and a business- first approach to gaining insights from data.
