Assessment & Certification

Participants who complete and pass the assessment will receive the SMU Certificate in Commercial Banking for T&O (IBF Level 1). This programme is one of five accredited modules that stacks up to the SMU Professional Certificate in Technology and Operations (IBF Level 1) and the “IBF Qualified” certification by the Institute of Banking & Finance.

SkillsFuture Credit

Trainer's Biography

Evelyn Chua is a corporate banking professional with over 21 years’ experience. A career Citibanker, she spent the past 14 years in transaction banking covering trade operations, relationship management, product sales for cash management and trade. In her last role, she held the position as Country Sales Head for Treasury & Trade Solutions, with a portfolio that included banks, financial institutions, public sector companies, MNCS and SMEs. During her tenure, she also facilitated sales and product training for front office staff, hi -potentials and management trainees. 

 

Amelia Ching is a financial IT veteran with over 25 years’ experience. Previously the Head of Risk and Control for Citibank’s Treasury and Trade Solutions Group, her role included IT service management, application production, IT outsourcing management, global internet application Operational Readiness Management and the setup of Global and Regional Application command centre. Amelia has been instrumental in the design and delivery of SMU Academy’s technology related programs, facilitating and delivering both public and custom trainings and consultancy for the academy.
