Topic/Structure
To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) Programming, participants will need to complete any 6 of the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Introduction to Programming using Python
Module 2: Data Manipulation and Preprocessing
Module 3: Machine Learning Fundamentals
Module 4: Deep Learning Fundamentals
Module 5: Introduction to AI Programming using Large Language Models
Module 6: Responsible AI: Navigating Ethics, Risk Management, and Governance
Module 7: Building AI User Interface using Gradio and Streamlit
Module 8: LangChain Programming
Module 9: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Programming
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for any 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) Programming issued by Singapore Management University.
