At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to
- Learn to frame a design challenge for the workplace which could range from infrastructure to programme improvement
- Learn how to make design thinking work for you and your team by getting hands-on practice with the scoping and discovery process which includes identification of team members and stakeholders, planning the interview questions and determination of user characteristics
- Learn how to create readily implementable “hacks” for use when they return to your workplace
In this high-energy workshop, participants will get to frame a design challenge and acquire tools to develop diverse perspectives, build collaborative listening skills, hone storytelling abilities, and experience varied ways to process information that provide deeper user insights. After the workshop, participants can leverage these tools to better understand the needs of their stakeholders and to create impactful culture change in their organisations. This workshop is useful for educators, managers or anyone who is doing design thinking, or involved in design or innovation related areas of work.
