2. What are the operating hours?

Our operating hours are:

  • Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 6.00pm
  • We are closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays

3. Where is the SMU Academy located?

We are located at:

60 Stamford Road, Level 4, Singapore 178900

 

You can get to SMU Academy via the following modes of public transport:

If you are travelling by car,parking is available at the Lee Kong Chian Business School and SMU Administration Building. The parking rates are given below:

Please note that SMU parking lots are closed everyday between 2359 hrs and 0600hrs. A surcharge will be levied for vehicles found in the parking lot after 2359hrs.

PROGRAMME BENEFITS

4. What kind of programme benefits can I enjoy at SMU Academy?

We offer a range of benefits, including discounts for signing up early and in groups. Members also stand to gain with a range of benefits, including discounts on courses, access to the SMU events and the SMU library, our professional networks and free e-learning modules. In addition,we also offer learning grants to SMU alumni. Kindly refer to our Programme Benefits for details.

5. What is the application process for membership at SMU Academy?

You will automatically become a member upon registering for any of our courses. Membership is free-of-charge.

6. Can I transfer SMU Academy membership to others?

Unfortunately,memberships are given upon registration for SMU Academy courses and are therefore non-transferable.

7. How long is my membership valid for?

There is no expiry date for SMU Academy memberships.

8. Will I have to pay for courses or events organised by SMU Academy as a member?

Yes. However,you will enjoy the preferential rates offered to SMU Academy members for chargeable events and courses.

CREDIT BEARING MODULES

9. Is there a time limit by which I need to have completed all stackable modules to be awarded certification by SMU?

At SMU Academy, we offer stackable modules leading to the award of Graduate Certificates,Graduate Diplomas and Master's Degrees. The table below shows the number of years in which you will need to complete all relevant modules in order to be awarded certification.

Graduate Certificate Within 3 years to complete.
Graduate Diploma Within 3 years to complete.  Upon completion of your Graduate Certificate, you will be granted exemptions based on the credit units that you have accumulated for each module. The exemptions will be valid for a calendar year.
Master's Degree Upon completion of your Graduate Diploma and/or Graduate Certificate, you will be granted exemption based on the credit units that you have accumulated for each course.

10. How do I make payment for courses?
