In collaboration with Talent Plus, SMU Academy has developed the CLIMB Programme for SMEs' leadership. The programme is designed to groom emerging leaders with an integrated view of management fundamentals to lead and manage effectively for digital transformations, change management, sustainable growth and profitability. There is a total of 6 modules in the programme.

The Brand module is the third module in the series.

A ‘Brand’ represents the image of the organisation. The focus will be on establishing a holistic brand experience by creating clarity on brand values, brand positioning, communication and people behaviour framework. This module will help you to identify your core customers, explore your customer profiles and some easy to understand examples as well as ideas and strategies that you can immediately implement when you go back to work.

This module is part of CLIMB Programme.

Everyone can talk about their brand but only a few truly understand what their brand means to their customer/ audience. Come experience this module to unravel what you thought you know about your brand and use that new found knowledge to challenge change within your organisation and in your marketing communications.

Who Should Attend

Business owners, professionals and managers with marketing and branding responsibilities in the B2C and B2B landscape.


An assessment will be conducted at the end of the course.

Fees and Funding

SkillsFuture Series 

Course fee grant at 70% of course fees (excluding GST) for participants who are successfully enrolled by SMU into approved courses under the Programme. Participants must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy ("MCES")
Up to 90% of course fees for Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs ("ETSS")
Up to 90% of course fees for employees of SMEs who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents

Workfare Training Support Scheme ("WTS")
Up to 95% of course fees for Singapore Citizens aged 35 years and above (13 years and above for persons with disabilities) earning a monthly income of not more than S$2,000.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above, and self-funding may use their SkillsFuture Credit (up to S$500) to defray part of the course fee. Please click User Guide on how to submit your claim. SkillsFuture Credit claims may be submitted by logging in via MySkillsFuture.sg.

Absentee Payroll
Companies who sponsor their employees for the course may apply for Absentee Payroll via the SkillsConnect system. For more information, please visit SkillsConnect.

Full Fee: S$1,070 per participant (including GST)

Nett fee payable after SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Funding for Individuals:

  • S$321 (including GST) for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents
  • S$121 (including GST) for Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above

He has also been a judge for prestigious media award shows and been conducting digital related programmes for industrial practitioners working in major creative agencies and brands with the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents in Singapore.
