Overview

In collaboration with Talent Plus, SMU Academy has developed the CLIMB Programme for SMEs' leadership. The programme is designed to groom emerging leaders with an integrated view of management fundamentals to lead and manage effectively for digital transformations, change management, sustainable growth and profitability. There is a total of 6 modules in the programme.

The Monetise module is the fifth module in the series.

This module focuses on identifying the right financial strategies and implement them; changing the practice of accounting management to financial management. Through case studies and exercises, SME owners will learn the practical approach on making realistic forecasts, effective steps in revenue generation and proven techniques in managing top and bottom line, tax and the maximum leverage of capital.

Fees and Funding

SkillsFuture Series 

Course fee grant at 70% of course fees (excluding GST) for participants who are successfully enrolled by SMU into approved courses under the Programme. Participants must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy ("MCES")
Up to 90% of course fees for Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs ("ETSS")
Up to 90% of course fees for employees of SMEs who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents

Workfare Training Support Scheme ("WTS")
Up to 95% of course fees for Singapore Citizens aged 35 years and above (13 years and above for persons with disabilities) earning a monthly income of not more than S$2,000.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above, and self-funding may use their SkillsFuture Credit (up to S$500) to defray part of the course fee. Please click User Guide on how to submit your claim. SkillsFuture Credit claims may be submitted by logging in via MySkillsFuture.sg.

Absentee Payroll
Companies who sponsor their employees for the course may apply for Absentee Payroll via the SkillsConnect system. For more information, please visit SkillsConnect.


Full Fee: S$1,070 per participant (including GST)

Nett fee payable after SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Funding for Individuals:

  • S$321 (including GST) for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents
  • S$121 (including GST) for Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above

With a passion in coaching and training, Lee Thong is also an ICF certified coach who finds great satisfaction in helping people to develop their fullest potential through personal self-awareness, financial empowerment and performance improvement. Lee Thong has over 25 years of Finance leadership experience across listed and privately owned MNCs in various industries. In his last held position with an MNC headquartered in Singapore, Lee Thong led a global Finance team of 40, running a full spectrum of Finance functions and accomplishing major projects including syndicated fund raising, automating financial reporting, and implementing an ERP across Asia Pacific.
