*The Future of Work - Cyber Security Awareness

#Taking Pre-emptive Actions to Protect Yourself against Potential Cyber Threats

This module is part of the Future of Work Series and aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect their information assets as well as take pre-emptive actions to protect themselves against potential cyber threats by mitigating their security exposure.

Cybersecurity is no longer just a technology issue but also a business one. Businesses have become more digitised and hence, are more exposed to an increasing number of threats in the cyberspace which have strategic, financial, operational and reputational implications. It is very important for organisations to understand the real risks involved and take the necessary preventive measures to protect themselves.

Through a series of live demonstrations, participants will be shown how easy it is to fall prey to identity stealing, social engineering, fraud, email forgery, hoaxes, modern virus and backdoor approaches to the advanced persistent threats that continuously plague our various digital devices and security networks such as computers, tablets, smartphones and servers etc.
