Overview
In the finance function, that means working now to get the right skillsets and technology in place to take advantage of the inevitable disruption ahead. This online certificate programme is designed specifically to guide the corporate finance community through this change in a practical, objective manner.
Comprising 7 modules, this self-directed online learning series is nothing like a typical sit-back-and-listen lesson. Participants will engage in a new activity every three to five minutes. Each element is designed to keep them engaged, involved, and on their toes. Engaging with peers is a big part of what sets SMU Academy’s online courses apart. Participants will exchange ideas, offer input, and seek out viewpoints from a community of working professionals and leading-edge practitioners gathered from across industries. In the process, participants will learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.
Midway through the programme, each cohort will be invited to join a live webinar which offers participants an opportunity to interact and have a dialogue with the trainers and invited guest speakers from the industry. The webinar will typically take the format of a live teaching session offering a broad range of various topics covered in the programme followed by a question-and-answer session with the trainers and guest speakers. Another webinar will be held towards the end of the programme for each cohort.
