David Chen

David Chen’s passion and commitment to sustainability is a result of his work in venture capital, regional economic development and climate change policy. He is Principal and Chairman of Equilibrium, an investment firm focused on building and managing sustainability driven, real assets portfolios, for institutional investors.  Equilibrium manages portfolios in green real estate, sustainable agriculture and food, and renewable resources.  Previously, Dave was a general partner at OVP Venture Partners; Founder/CEO GeoTrust; Corporate Vice President Marketing Mentor Graphics; McKinsey & Company; and early team member at Solectron. Dave is an adjunct professor of finance at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University
