Overview
This Play-to-Earn genre, popularised by games such as Axie Infinity, marked the start of GameFi’s entry into Web 3.0. It was reported that there has been a rising trend of residents in some developing economies making a living by playing these games.
Through this 2-day interactive course, participants will dive first into Metaverse and gaming and then into the design behind GameFi games. They will also be examining the role of in-app NFTs, how tokens act as an incentive to stimulate gameplay, and the role of blockchain in rising GameFi games.
