Overview
Join a transformative 1-day course exploring the principles of adaptability and change management. Based on cutting-edge research, this class will introduce participants to overcoming resistance and enhancing theirs and their organisation’s adaptability capabilities.
Discover why adaptability is the secret to thriving in a world of unstoppable change. Participants will gain a powerful overview of adaptability and change models, practices and methods, and be enabled to positively manage change in their organisation by becoming more adaptable and supporting of others.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 1-day course, participants will be able to:
- Gain an understanding of the change processes, the resistance to change and how to overcome it
- Learn about the different change management models and how to select the best ideas from each
- Manage change positively via the 5 Stages of the Transtheoretical Change Framework
- Be introduced to an entire set of skills enabling us to become more adaptable
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
- Trainees are eligible for ETSS funding only if their company's SME status is approved prior to the course commencement date. To verify your SME's status, please click here.
