What is the SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme?

SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career)
This credit supports Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above. It can be used to offset out-of-pocket course fees for selected courses that have better employability outcomes, and it does not expire.

Courses eligible for SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career):
- Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) full qualifications and shorter modules that stack to a full qualification
- MOE-subsidised full qualifications from the University of the Arts Singapore and Arts Institutions
- SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP), which are train-and-place programmes in sectors with good hiring opportunities
- Courses aligned to training requirements in Progressive Wage Model (PWM) sectors
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy courses

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance
SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) of $4,000, which does not expire, can further offset nett course fees for selected courses that have better employability outcomes. This is provided to all Singapore Citizens upon reaching 40 years old.
From 1 March 2026, the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance will be extended to selected part-time training, with applications opening from 9 February 2026. To qualify, you will need to have earned income in the last 12 months. Eligible individuals who opt to continue working while pursuing part-time training can receive a flat rate of $300 per month to defray incidental training expenses.

- Full-time SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP);
- Full-time IHL full qualifications up to undergraduate degree-level; and
- Full-time MOE-subsidised full qualifications offered by University of the Arts Singapore and Arts Institutions (up to undergraduate degree-level).

Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) For Publicly-Funded Full-Time Diploma
The MCES covers up to 90% of course fees for courses funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
From Academic Year of 2025, if you enrol in a full-time Diploma from ITE (Technical/Technical Engineering Diploma), Polytechnics, and Arts Institutions (NAFA, LASALLE), you will be eligible for the MCES, on top of the prevailing base subsidies.
