Overview
This module focuses on the practical application of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within the digital economy. Participants will explore various strategies for implementing AI technologies to address real-world business challenges and opportunities. Topics covered include understanding the impact of AI on different industries, identifying suitable use cases for AI implementation, evaluating ethical considerations in deploying AI solutions, and managing the integration process within existing digital infrastructure. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will gain valuable insights into effectively leveraging AI to drive innovation and competitive advantage in today's digital landscape.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
- Understand the key principles and concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in the digital economy
- Analyse real-world case studies to evaluate the impact of AI solutions on businesses and industries within the digital economy
- Develop proficiency in implementing AI solutions by applying relevant tools, techniques, and methodologies to address business challenges
- Critically assess ethical considerations related to AI implementation in the digital economy and propose strategies for responsible use of AI technologies
- Demonstrate effective communication skills by presenting a comprehensive plan for integrating AI solutions into an organization's digital strategy, considering potential risks and benefits
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
