PREREQUISITES
Participants should preferably have an initial understanding of blockchain technology and prior knowledge of programming.
Overview
In module five, participants dive into the suitability of blockchain solutions. This module examines the different blockchain architectures and infrastructure providers in the ecosystem to strengthen these solutions. Learners will come to understand public and enterprise platform models by leading industry players such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Hyperledger, and Quorum. After identifying common design patterns, participants are encouraged to design their own decentralised application.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
- Analyse different blockchain architectures and infrastructure providers
- Understand common design patterns when working with blockchain applications
- Construct Enterprise and Public Blockchain stacks
- Design an architecture for decentralised applications
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
