Overview
In this module, participants will learn how to create a seamless and consistent experience for their virtual audiences through the latest technologies. They will be exposed to the world of mixed reality (MR), integrating virtual elements with the physical environment as well as extended reality (XR), using augmented reality (AR) tools.
Module 3 – 6 must be taken within the same intake.
Learning Objectives
- Learn how to create a seamless and consistent audience experience for virtual events
- Learn how to embrace the latest technologies to keep up with the production quality to create an engaging viewing experience
- Know more about extended reality, augmented reality tools and basic UnReal engine, tracking cameras, Mocap suits and putting them together in a virtual production
- Gain an understanding of 5G mobile network and future possibilities it presents for one location
Topic/Structure
- The future of events with emerging technologies in the extended reality (XR) space, including virtual and hybrid events.
- The production tools and techniques needed to create a seamless and engaging audience experience in virtual and hybrid events.
- Introduction to mixed reality (MR) and the use of augmented reality (AR) tools in virtual event production.
- The potential of 5G mobile networks for on-location virtual production.
- Final group production project that involves executing everything learned during the course, including live streaming an actual, commercial-grade show split into two groups - one conference/webinar during the day and one live music show during the evening on Saturday, with assigned tasks and roles, and a set budget.

CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of all 6 modules within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital Advanced Certificate in Virtual Production.
