Overview
Learning Objectives
- Understand data design principles by outlining best practices in data/database design
- Use Data Table Creation by exploring functionality and architecting tables
- Apply simple data mining techniques using filters and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to uncover hidden data insights, with the help of ChatGPT
- Employ data formatting techniques focusing on filtering and data type transformations
- Learn about database management exploring collaboration and data governance tasks
- Learn about data model creation by using power pivot to create simple star schema data model
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s direction, may be an online test and assignment.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
