Learning Objectives
At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- Understand the latest trends in logistics and supply chain management and its increased expectation of performance, both in terms of speed as well as accuracy
- Appreciate the complexity of new supply chain delivery models for emerging growth areas such as ecommerce logistics, cross-border ecommerce and inter-city quick delivery
- Understand the use of digitalisation and data in supply chain management systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Understand the key elements of supply chain asset location selection, hub designs and transportation asset deployment
- Develop first hand in-depth look of how technology is being deployed in supply chain, including artificial intelligence-vision based intrusion and monitoring system, high turnaround automation (including sorting robots, autonomous automated guided vehicles (AGVs), automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and data analytics for demand forecasting.

Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
