Overview

Managing risks and overcoming challenges are crucial for investors aiming to reach their financial goals. Assessment

Participants will be assessed based on their in-class participation and contribution.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman

Wilson brings nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry, having worked across both local and international financial institutions in Singapore. He has held multiple leadership roles in Global Financial Markets, including Regional Head for Product Review & Control in the Investment Products Group and head of the Wealth Management Solution team within Treasury & Markets.

He holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University (recipient of a study award from Forex Association of Singapore) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the National University of Singapore.
In addition to his industry career, Wilson has contributed extensively to education, teaching at institutions such as IBF, SHRI, Monash University, and SIM. He currently serves as an associate lecturer at SIM-RMIT.

Wilson has conducted numerous seminars for corporate and high-net-worth clients, focusing on investment and wealth management. Passionate about teaching, he integrates practical industry insights with a holistic, risk-aware investment approach across asset classes.

Kenneth is a former banker with 34 years of experience in Global Markets across local and international banks. He began at DBS Bank in 1987 as Head of Treasury Sales, covering corporates and institutions. In 1993, he joined Merrill Lynch International Bank as APAC Treasurer, managing funding, FX, rates, and derivatives. 

He spent 25 years at BNP Paribas in senior management roles, most recently as Head of Corporate MNC APAC in the Global Markets Division. He has led numerous client seminars and advised corporates, financial institutions, and private clients using his strong regulatory, legal, and investment expertise. A practitioner-investor, he emphasises a holistic approach to investing, balancing risk and reward.

Kenneth holds a First-Class Honours degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from NUS and is qualified to advise on securities, futures, swaps, and commodities. He also supported diversity initiatives at BNP Paribas and the Financial Women Association.
