Overview

Dive into the art of crafting effective storyboards for online tools like chatbots and Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) objects, essential components of dynamic blended learning environments.

Participants will be equipped with the necessary skills to design and develop self-directed learning resources (e.g. chatbots for learning) that integrate seamlessly into a broader Artificial Intelligence (AI) empowered learning ecosystem. The course also explores strategic planning for an AI empowered learning ecosystem that supports autonomous learning and fosters an interactive, adaptive, and engaging educational experience. Through practical design exercises and strategic planning sessions, participants will learn to curate and implement innovative learning solutions that cater to diverse participant needs and preferences.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:

  • Design storyboards for online learning resources e.g. Chatbots and Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) objects for blended learning
  • Evaluate self-directed learning tools and platforms for use within the learning ecosystem
  • Plan an Artificial Intelligence (AI) empowered learning ecosystem

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by SMU Academy.
