PREREQUISITES
- Participants must possess at least 4 GCE 'O' level passes or equivalent
- Participants with relevant working experiences may be considered for entry on a case to case basis if they do not have the necessary qualification
Overview
The overall objective of this course is to equip participants with a broad based understanding of the application of smart technologies and its implication and impact on business intelligence.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the basics of 3D printing and its applications in various industries
- Understand the concept of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and its benefits for businesses
- Understand the concept of Low-Code and No-Code platforms and their role in automating processes
- Be able to build a simple RPA workflow using a Low-Code and No-Code platform
- Understand the basics of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Understand the concept of Deep Learning and its applications
- Be able to build a simple Machine Learning model using Python and a popular library such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow
- Understand the impact of smart technologies on business
- Acquire hands-on experience working with 3D printing, RPA, Low-Code and No-Code platforms and Artificial Intelligence using Machine Learning and Deep Learning
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
