Singapore Management University (SMU), Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII) and the Risk and Insurance Management Association of Singapore (RIMAS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to co-develop and co-deliver a series of Artificial Intelligence (AI) programmes and courses under SMU Academy, the professional training arm of the university. The programmes and courses offered under this strategic partnership on AI4Good Education will provide working professionals with the necessary training to shape a sustainable future for AI.
The signing ceremony took place at the SMU Yong Pung How School of Law. Dr James Ong, Founder and Managing Director of AIII, Mr Andeed Ma, President of RIMAS, and Mr Michael Low, Deputy Director of SMU Academy, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
The MoU was announced on 3rd September 2022 at the international webinar organised by WAIC - World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) and AIII on the highly debated topic of AI4Good and AI Unicorns.
