Established in 2007, JR Life Sciences is an established distributor of vitamins, minerals and various health supplements. Their two principal brands, ‘Holistic Way’ and ‘JR Life Sciences’, are sold over 300 counters in pharmacies, health and personal care stores as well as department stores in Singapore and online marketplaces.
The Data Governance Framework Development project was initiated with the objective of addressing gaps in JR Life Sciences' data governance practices. The primary aim was to deliver a structured Data Protection Management Programme (DPMP) that not only complied with PDPA but also aligned with the industry's best practices. This project aimed to help JR Life Sciences understand their data protection accountability throughout the information lifecycle, from collection to disposal.
