At SMU Academy, learners can access selected eligible courses designed to build practical, industry-relevant AI capabilities. The complimentary subscription allows learners to continue practising and applying what they have learnt beyond the classroom.
What Is the SkillsFuture AI Subscription Initiative
The SkillsFuture AI Subscription initiative is part of the National AI Impact Programme and supports Singapore’s efforts to develop an AI-ready workforce.
The initiative provides eligible learners with
- Access to selected AI courses that build practical capabilities
- A complimentary six-month subscription to a premium AI tool
- More opportunities to apply AI at work and in everyday life
- Continued practice after completing their training
Each eligible learner may redeem only one complimentary subscription, regardless of how many eligible courses attended.

Steps to Redeem the Complimentary AI Subscription
Step 1: Attend an Eligible Course
Attend an AI course carrying the Free AI sub label on MySkillsFuture.
Step 2: Receive Your Notification
Eligible learners will receive an email with the redemption details after attending the course.
Step 3: Select Your Subscription
Review the available options and choose the subscription that best supports your learning goals.
Step 4: Submit Your Request
Complete the redemption form within 60 days of receiving the notification email.
Step 5: Activate Your Subscription
Successful applicants will receive the relevant activation instructions by email.
