This module provides essential financial literacy in shipping, covering aspects of budgeting, cost control, and comprehensive financial planning. It's designed to equip maritime professionals with the skills needed to manage financial resources effectively in a demanding industry. 

At the end of the session, participants will be able to competently manage financial resources in maritime operations and optimise costs and budget planning. They will also gain the ability to accurately analyse financial performance in fleet management, ensuring sound financial decision-making.

This module focuses on cultivating crucial leadership skills for corporate roles, enabling effective management of multicultural and cross-functional teams.

At the end of the session, participants will enhance their conflict resolution and negotiation abilities, along with improving stakeholder engagement within maritime operations.
 

This module explores ESG frameworks, sustainability regulations, and green shipping technologies, equipping participants with the knowledge to drive impactful change.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to competently implement sustainability practices in maritime operations. They'll also gain the ability to thoroughly assess ESG risks and compliance requirements, and confidently understand carbon accounting principles, all crucial for a greener maritime sector.
 

This module equips participants with a comprehensive understanding of maritime business and commercial awareness. It provides essential knowledge of the financial and commercial aspects of the shipping industry, with a particular focus on business operations, chartering, and marine insurance.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to explain the fundamentals of the shipping business model, analyse freight market dynamics and chartering processes, and identify risk mitigation strategies crucial for commercial maritime operations.
 

This module introduces participants to the myriads of shore-based maritime career opportunities, offering a clear picture of the industry's structure, its key stakeholders, and crucial regulatory requirements.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to explain the fundamentals of the shipping business model, analyse freight market dynamics and chartering processes, and identify vital risk mitigation strategies in commercial maritime operations.
 

This module focuses on digital transformation in the maritime sector, covering key areas such as data analytics, cyber security, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in both fleet and ship management. 

At the end of the session, participants will be able to effectively utilise digital tools for ship and fleet management and confidently interpret and analyse operational data. They will also learn to implement cybersecurity best practices, crucial for safeguarding digital operations in the maritime world. 
 

Now it's time for participants to put their newfound knowledge to the test in the Blue Project, a simulated real-world scenario designed to challenge their abilities and solidify their understanding of cybersecurity concepts.

Throughout the programme, participants will gain expertise in capturing network traffic, recovering hidden files, and analysing memory from both Windows and Linux systems. They will also develop the ability to reconstruct attack timelines, extract evidence from disks and file systems, and analyse malware to understand its capabilities and potential impact. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to collect, analyse, and present forensic evidence for legal proceedings and incident response teams. 

Participants will learn how to identify vulnerabilities, manage cyber risks, and implement security controls like firewalls and network segmentation. They will also explore tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOC (Security Operation Center) used to monitor threats and manage security incidents. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of Check Point security solutions for network traffic monitoring and threat detection. 

This Red Project provides an opportunity for participants to showcase their acquired skills by simulating a real-world cybersecurity scenario.
