This course introduces basic coding skills to participants through a series of hands-on exercises to solve accounting and finance problems. The coding language will be Python which is the industry standard for data oriented professionals. Python is widely recognised for its ease of learning, making it suitable for participants with little to zero coding experience. It is also supported with many data analysis and machine learning tools which provides the more experienced participants with a powerful tool at their disposal.

With the fast-evolving change in the market and technology environment, meeting customers' demands and regulatory requirements are critical success factors for businesses to stay ahead and competitive.

Organisations are revamping the software and product development approach to meet the new demands; adopting DevOps and agile methodologies in place of traditional waterfall project management is a new norm. In this training, you will put into practice the different methodologies and acquire practical tips, strategies and the know-hows to become effective project managers.

In this 3-day workshop, participants will learn the various financial and accounting concepts and terminologies used in the financial performance measurement of technology functions. Be familiar with how to manage, analyse and account for variance in financial performance with reference to financial information or reports on budget, accrual and expenses.

They will also learn how to do due diligence and comply with the regulatory requirements of outsourcing as cloud-based services are adding to the family of financial services offered by the Financial Industry.
