This course empowers learners to critically evaluate blockchain’s potential for driving secure, decentralised solutions in finance, supply chain, and governance. Through hands-on analysis of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and smart contracts, participants will assess real-world use cases and design strategies for organisational adoption,  to align with Singapore’s vision for a trusted digital economy. 

Participants will explore the principles of digital creation, focusing on problem-solving, iterative design, and practical applications of coding and electronics. Through hands-on projects, learners will develop prototypes that integrate sensors, actuators, and programmable devices, enabling them to be meaningful contributors to the creation of a Smart Nation. 

Participants can accelerate their learning by leveraging the knowledge base of industry experts who have been delivering solutions for first-mover clients with devices such as HoloLens 2, Magic Leap, Google Glass, Valve Index and more.

This course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to understand quantum computing, how it differs from classical computing and what the main applications are, now and in the future. Furthermore, participants can experience programming real quantum computers and explore the quantum world.

Healthcare is a growing industry globally. Factors driving the growth and demand for healthcare services include an ageing population and advances in both medicine and technology. Life expectancy improves and hence, the need for quality healthcare. That said, the industry is also highly regulated and complex, making it challenging for mid-career professionals to successfully transit into it on their own.

The Key Healthcare Operational Competencies Module aims to equip participants with the key administration/ operational skills that would be helpful to them in most healthcare settings. 

Module 2 focuses on the software of the hospital system, the people and culture. Specifically, this module aims to provide participants with an appreciation of the soft side of the healthcare industry – the work norms, environment and culture, which may differ from organizations with distinct command and control structure/processes.

The Healthcare Operating Environment Module aims to provide participants with a useful window into the world of healthcare at the local and regional level. Participants will engage with industry practitioners throughout the program whilst being grounded in useful frameworks to place into context the practice insights. The blended approach of academia and practice experiences will allow participants to develop their own perspectives and for mid-career professionals, understand how to apply their past experiences into healthcare to hit the ground running.

The Future of Healthcare and Action Learning Module aims to prepare participants for the future of healthcare, by introducing them to the disruptive technologies that are/ will be employed in healthcare, equip them with effective communication skills, as well as provide them with a  platform to network with healthcare leaders and to translate their learning into actionable areas that will bring real value to healthcare organisations.
