Overview
RegTech uses technologies such as advanced analytics, robotic process automation, cognitive computing and the cloud to achieve regulatory and compliance outcomes more efficiently and effectively. It is easy to get carried away with new technologies that ultimately don’t deliver. Most financial companies’ use of RegTech is in its infancy and obstacles lie in the way. The overall objective of Module 3 and 4 is for participants to experience how data and innovation-driven approaches can transform compliance into a competitive advantage. Module 4 focuses on opportunities and challenges with regard to blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT), data privacy, secure data sharing, and privacy-preserving analytics/ machine learning.
