There are no prerequisites for this programme. Prior knowledge on any of the topics is not required.
Overview
Developing an in-depth understanding of Web 3.0 is key to harnessing the growth potential of Web 3.0. This module aims to instill in participants deeper knowledge of Web 3.0, allowing them the opportunity to explore its benefits and potential, and learn how to build their resumes and qualifications to enter the Web 3.0 industry.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:
- Understand the history and evolution from Web 1.0 to Web 3.0, and the foundational technologies behind each phase.
- Discover the technologies such as blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps), and their applications across various business industries.
- Evaluate real-world implementations and case studies of Web 3.0 technologies for individuals and organisations.
- Gain insights into the nuances of product development and management within the Web 3.0 ecosystem, and how it differs from traditional Web 2.0 approaches.
- Learn how Web 3.0 projects foster community engagement and build growth strategies
- Identify emerging trends, recruitment processes, and career opportunities in the Web 3.0 space, preparing for future advancements in this emerging field.
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
