There are no prerequisites for this programme. Prior knowledge of any of the topics is not required.
Overview
This programme explores how agentic AI is transforming industries such as finance, healthcare, logistics, and government. Participants will analyse adoption drivers, challenges, and regulatory considerations across sectors, while developing strategies to pilot, scale, and govern AI agents in real-world contexts. Through case studies, return on investment modelling, and roadmap design activities, participants will learn how to adapt agentic AI implementation to their organisational and industry-specific needs.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
- Identify industry-specific use-cases and opportunities for deploying agentic artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and analyse cross-industry case studies to identify adoption patterns and best practices
- Analyse case studies showcasing successful agentic AI deployments across sectors (e.g., finance, healthcare, government, retail)
- Recognise drivers, challenges, and regulatory considerations relevant to Singapore and global contexts
- Formulate implementation strategies tailored to diverse organisational needs and constraints and build phased adoption roadmaps from pilot to production with governance checkpoints
- Assess critical factors (e.g., scalability, interoperability, ethics) influencing successful agentic AI integration, quantify return on investment and define key performance indicators for agent performance and business impact
- Compare implementation strategies across industries and organisational sizes and propose strategies to address industry-specific challenges and barriers to adoption of agentic AI
- Create practical deployment roadmaps for introducing agentic AI solutions within each contexts and prepare proposals to secure leadership buy-in for agent projects
- Gain an understanding in emerging applications adoption of agentic AI
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by SMU Academy.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
