- Individuals with basic digital literacy and an interest in AI technology
- No prior AI or advanced programming experience required, just enthusiasm for AI and technology
PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this programme. Prior knowledge of any of the topics is not required.
However, it is recommended to have the following:
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts (covered in Module 1)
- Familiarity with LLMs and data (covered in Module 2)
- Prior exposure to APIs and application integrations
For beginners: It is recommended to take this module after completing Modules 1, 2, and 3.
Overview
This programme enables participants to explore leading tools and platforms, evaluate the best options for their business needs, and follow step-by-step techniques to customise and deploy their own agents, over three days. The journey takes participants from concept to working prototype, covering configuration, application programming interface (API) integration and data integration, debugging, monitoring, and applying best practices to implement business-specific agentic AI solutions.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:
- Identify and evaluate popular agentic artificial intelligence (AI) development tools and platforms, assessing their strengths, weaknesses, and suitability for business needs
- Conceptualise, configure, and deploy functional AI agents using no-code or low-code platforms
- Apply effective prompting, tool schemas, memory components, and customisations to ensure consistent and business-aligned agent performance
- Integrate agents with external data sources, application programming interfaces (APIs), and communication channels for real-world use cases
- Analyse, troubleshoot, and iterate on agent performance to improve reliability, scalability, cost, and latency
- Implement monitoring, logging, and safety guardrails to ensure responsible and sustainable agent operations
- Evaluate and showcase a working agent prototype while discussing emerging trends such as autonomous development agents, enterprise orchestration, and platform interoperability
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by SMU Academy.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
