Overview
The "Responsible AI: Navigating Ethics, Risk Management, and Governance" module is an essential 2-day training designed for professionals engaged in Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects.
This module offers a comprehensive understanding and practical insights into ethical AI deployment, risk management, and governance. Participants will explore the core principles of Responsible AI, gain a deep understanding of AI ethics, and learn how to implement effective AI governance frameworks. The training includes interactive workshops, case studies, and role-playing exercises, enabling participants to actively apply their learnings to real-world scenarios.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
- Understand and articulate the foundational principles of Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Integrate AI ethics and principles within their projects, focusing on accountability, transparency, fairness, privacy, robustness, security and safety
- Navigate and incorporate AI governance models and frameworks
- Identify, assess, and mitigate specific risks associated with Generative AI
- Apply practical strategies for managing AI risks throughout the lifecycle of Generative AI projects
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
