Overview
Amidst the current era of disruptive technological advancements, traditional industries are undergoing profound transformations fuelled by innovative digital solutions. This certificate programme is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and insights needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving blockchain landscape. It offers a comprehensive exploration of blockchain technology, smart contracts, DApps, decentralised finance, NFTs, Web3, and the metaverse, providing participants with a deep understanding of their pivotal role in shaping the future of commerce. Through hands-on projects and case studies, participants will not only gain practical experience but also hone their ability to develop innovative blockchain solutions and navigate the regulatory and ethical complexities inherent in this dynamic sector, fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability.
Topic/Structure
To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Blockchain in Digital Economy, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Distributed Ledger Technology
Module 2: Blockchain Platforms
Module 3: Smart Contract and DApps
Module 4: Decentralised Finance Mastery
Module 5: Non-Fungible Tokens Fundamentals and Applications
Module 6: Web3 and Metaverse Immersion
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Blockchain in Digital Economy issued by Singapore Management University.
