Overview

The ability to communicate using the right approach to the right audience is critical in the digital age where information moves through societies with blinding speed. Communication is the glue that binds all the facets of a modern business.

All business functions from finance, strategy, marketing, sales and even operations will achieve better optimised outcomes with good communication skills as they manage diverse stakeholders such as investors, employees, regulators, NGOs, mass media and across the various media platforms.

This programme is one of Singapore's most established and highly subscribed communication management programmes that sees over a thousand professionals across various industry sectors and organisations coming together and trained in the art and science of communications yearly.

To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Communication Management, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:

Building a Winning Corporate Culture
Foundations of Brand Storytelling
Strategies for Persuasive Presentations
Business Storytelling Studio

Assessment

An assessment will be conducted at the end of each module.

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of all 6 modules within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital Advanced Certificate in Communication Management.

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
