This certificate programme aims to help meet the growing demand for Fintech talent in Singapore and beyond. To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Fintech and the Future of Finance, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Decoding Fintech – A Comprehensive Look at its Evolution and Progression
Module 2: The Financial System Revolution – Digital Banking, Payments, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Wealth Management
Module 3: Harnessing the Power of Data - Analytics, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Era
Module 4: Balancing Act – Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance in Fintech
Module 5: Shaping the Future of Fintech – Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Module 6: Beyond Tech and Finance – Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Considerations and Ethical Implications in Fintech
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Fintech and the Future of Finance issued by Singapore Management University.
