Overview

This module seeks to explore these transformative shifts and decode the complexities in the industry. The course is designed in four distinct parts.

The first part delves into the rise of digital banking, its profound relationship with Fintech, and the innovative solutions that are enhancing digital banking experiences while addressing critical aspects of digital identity and security.

The second part deep dives into the evolution of digital payments and credit systems, with focus on 'Buy Now, Pay Later' schemes. It provides an overview of various digital payment systems, discusses recent innovations, and evolution of credit in the Fintech era.

The third part looks into the structure and functions of Capital Markets and institutions, analysing the role of Fintech in reshaping these traditional markets, and the unique opportunities and challenges this transformation presents.

The fourth part focuses on robo-advisory and its impact on wealth management, exploring the role of automation and algorithms in investment and portfolio management and engaging in thought-provoking discussions on the implications of these technologies on traditional wealth management firms and the overall investment service landscape.
