Overview
In light of the increasing significance of green technology, this certificate programme has been specifically designed to offer participants a thorough understanding of disruptive technologies within the sustainability context. It aims to address industry-specific applications in Singapore's dynamic landscape, providing participants with essential skills and knowledge crucial for success in today's rapidly evolving green industries. The programme entails a dynamic exploration of cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions, covering topics such as sustainable practices, environmental impact assessment, energy efficiency, renewable technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
Topic/Structure
To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Green Technology, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Green Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development
Module 2: Green Fintech Solutions for Environmental Impact
Module 3: Advancements in Green Vehicle Technology
Module 4: Sustainable Design and Construction in Green Building
Module 5: Implementing Eco-Friendly Information Technology Infrastructure Practices
Module 6: Financial Strategies for a Greener Future
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Green Technology issued by Singapore Management University.
