Who Should Attend
- Business Development, Operations and Solutions executives in the logistics or sales and customer service of a logistics organisation
- PMEs who have the relevant work experience from other service industries or sectors wishing to enhance their knowledge and skills or who are planning to expand their job portfolio or are seeking national certification/qualification in the logistics sector
- PMEs and career switchers with supervisory or managerial experiences or individuals in other related industries planning to join the logistics sector
PREREQUISITES
- Participants must possess at least 4 GCE 'O' level passes or equivalent
- Participants with relevant working experiences may be considered for entry on a case to case basis if they do not have the necessary qualification
Overview
Module 1 explores the confluence of 3 core technologies in supply chain innovation – Internet of Things (IoT), AI and Autonomous Technologies – and how they can be integrated effectively to drive intelligence in supply chain operations.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:
- Understand the challenge of integrating across structured and disruptive technologies
- Define and evaluate the evolving challenges on legacy systems
- Define and evaluate the evolving challenges on emerging and disruptive technologies
- Articulate the components of an intelligent supply chain and describe the various aspects of each component
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
