Overview
This empowering learning experience is designed to provide participants with the essential tools, strategies, and mindset needed to unlock the full potential of diversity and cultivate a culture where every individual feels valued, included, and has a profound sense of belonging.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day programme, participants would be able to:
- Define diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), along with their interrelationships and significance in a variety of contexts
- Examine the systemic obstacles that perpetuate injustices in various contexts and comprehend the necessity of confronting these issues in order to achieve justice
- Understand and evaluate inclusive leadership, including the cultivation of a culture of respect, candour, and empathy within a team or organisation
- Increase team cohesion by fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie between teams
- Recognise the significance of organisational culture in nurturing inclusion and sustaining long-term DEI efforts
- Implement assessment and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the efficacy of DEI activities and to determine how to use feedback to enhance inclusion initiatives over time
Assessment

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
