This course is tailored for food and beverage (F&B) owners and managers eager to integrate cutting-edge technology into their business practices. Learn how to harness technology to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and drive revenue growth. From digital ordering systems to artificial intelligence-driven analytics for customer behaviour, this course covers the essential tech tools that can revolutionise how you run your restaurant. By the end of this course, participants will be well-versed in the practical applications of automation and technology in the restaurant sector, empowering them to make informed decisions that elevate their business performance.

Learning Objectives

在为期两天的课程结束后,学员将能够:

• 探索适用于餐饮服务的最新技术发展,重点了解如何借助科技减轻员工负担、提升营运效率

At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the various types of currently used automated equipment in the F&B sector, including their functionalities and benefits
  • Learn about the latest technological advancements applicable to dining services, focusing on how these can reduce staff workload and increase operational efficiency
  • Equip F&B owners with the knowledge to appreciate how automation and technological tools lead to qualitative improvements and efficiency gains in their operations

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
  • Trainees are eligible for ETSS funding only if their company's SME status is approved prior to the course commencement date. To verify your SME's status, please click here.
