There are no prerequisites for this programme. As this programme is conducted in English, participants should be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Overview
This change management programme equips participants with change management methodologies needed to drive business transformation and implement digital transformation strategies effectively to redesign processes, roles, and capabilities. Participants learn how to diagnose organisational readiness, design transformation initiatives, and manage resistance across complex stakeholder environments.
Through structured approaches to capability development and performance measurement, the programme enables leaders to execute transformation initiatives while sustaining alignment, engagement, and long-term organisational performance.
This programme is a collaboration between SMU Academy and Universal Stage (UStage), a consultancy-based training company, to equip leaders with the versatile capabilities to lead their people and enterprises in a digitalisation-enabled future.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
- Diagnose organisational capability gaps, digital readiness levels, and competitive positioning weaknesses using structured strategic and transformation analysis frameworks
- Design and execute digital transformation strategies that integrate technologies, process redesign, and capability restructuring to achieve sustainable competitive advantage
- Apply change management frameworks to sequence and implement digitally enabled transformation initiatives while managing resistance and transition risks effectively
- Design competency frameworks that realign role requirements, workforce skills, and development investments with post-transformation digital operating models and performance standards
- Implement stakeholder engagement and change communication strategies to sustain buy-in and manage transitions throughout technology-enabled transformation
- Establish performance measurement systems to monitor, sustain, and optimise organisational performance and competitive positioning following digital and structural change
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Employer Sponsored
Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
