There are no prerequisites for this programme. As this programme is conducted in English, participants should be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Overview
Designed for leaders responsible for shaping organisational performance and competitiveness, the programme provides a comprehensive framework for building agile, resilient, and future-ready enterprises.
Participants will gain expertise in leveraging data-driven performance intelligence, developing future-ready talent, leading organisational transformation, fostering high-performance collaboration, building strategic partnerships, and designing innovative business models enabled by emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through applied learning and evidence-based frameworks, participants will learn how to translate strategy into execution, align organisational capabilities with evolving market demands, and create sustainable value across complex business ecosystems.
The programme prepares leaders to navigate disruption with confidence, champion enterprise-wide transformation, and position their organisations to compete and succeed in an evolving global economy. By integrating strategic foresight, organisational excellence, and innovation leadership, participants will be equipped to build enterprises that are adaptive, growth-oriented, and ready for the future.
The Advanced Certificate in Catalysing Future-Ready Enterprises is a collaboration between SMU Academy and Universal Stage (UStage), a consultancy-based training company, to equip leaders with the versatile capabilities to lead their people and enterprises in a digitalisation-enabled future.

Topic/Structure
To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Catalysing Future-Ready Enterprises, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
- Optimising Business Results through Performance Intelligence
- Nurturing Future-Ready Talent for Business Succession
- Driving Organisational Transformation for Competitive Advantage
- Fostering High-Performance Interdisciplinary Collaborations
- Creating Strategic Alliances for Value Maximisation
- Architecting Business Model Design with Artificial Intelligence Innovation
The modules need not be taken in sequential order and can be taken in separate cohorts.
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 2 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Catalysing Future-Ready Enterprises issued by SMU Academy.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Employer Sponsored
Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
