Overview
This programme provides participants with fundamental insights into cross-border fulfillment processes and timelines specific to Southeast Asia's e-commerce sector. Through case studies, participants will address both controllable and uncontrollable issues, learning effective solutions to minimise their impact. Learners will also be taught how to evaluate considerations when deciding between local and dropship methods for product sales and articulate key pillars and factors within the Southeast Asian e-commerce ecosystem.
Learning Objectives
- Explain how cross border fulfilment works in ecommerce industry
- Identify and differentiate primary types of cross border transportation mode
- Define the key factors and checkpoints from order to fulfilment
- Associate key processes i.e., importation, custom clearance, taxation, and trading regulations for e-commerce against issues that may influence cross border trade
- Understand current Southeast Asia (SEA) e-commerce marketplaces cross border fulfilment readiness (Tik Tok, Zalora, Lazada and Shopee)
- Use and interpret Share fulfilment simulation calculator to make an informed decision on shipping choice for a product – local vs dropship method.

CERTIFICATION
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
