Overview
Participants will gain experience from the perspectives of buyers, sellers, and e-commerce providers through case studies and examine the processes involved, interpret performance metrics, and assess service standards. By doing so, participants will be equipped to suggest feasible options and resolutions to negate or minimise negative impacts on the supply chain.
This module is available on a standalone basis.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the basics of supply chain management and key processes
- Explain the various supply chain models, Metrics/ Key Performance Indicators calculations by processes and basic optimisation methods of supply chain management in e-commerce industry
- Explain the importance of Sales and Operations Planning and its impact on performance
- Understand the importance of product master data (PMD) governance in the e-commerce arena
- Define how product data/ information is used in e-commerce in the entire value chain
- Analyse exceptions and suggest improvement to supply chain processes aligned to the e-commerce ecosystem

CERTIFICATION
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
