Overview
The SMU Academy Enterprise Risk Management Programme is designed and developed by established industry subject matter experts, practitioners of governance, risk management & compliance.
This programme is aligned to global best practices, offering participants a hands-on learning experience that is directly applicable to real-world scenarios. Rooted in practical application, the SMU Enterprise Risk Management programme integrates a curriculum enriched with authentic Asian case studies.
Additionally, selected elements of the programme are aligned with the Risk Management Society's Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) curriculum, thereby offering participants a tangible pathway for career advancement through the RIMS-CRMP certification route.
This programme will be offered regionally in Asia Pacific.

About RIMS-CRMP Certification
The RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) is a credential that demonstrates your achievement of risk management competencies, knowledge and commitment to quality. RIMS-CRMP show you can successfully manage risk and create value for your organisation.
RIMS-CRMP holds official accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under ISO/IEC 17024:2012. This makes RIMS-CRMP the only risk management certification in the world to hold accredited status.
Learning Objectives

- Identify, analyse and evaluate organisational risks
- Establish risk solutions in a consultancy approach
- Monitor to manage risk mitigation
- Advise on organisational performance related to the effectiveness of risk management
Assessment
There will be a mini quiz at the end of each session. Participants will also be assessed based on their in-class participation and contribution.
CERTIFICATION
Upon meeting the attendance and assessment criteria, participants will be awarded a digital certificate for participating in each module. Please refer to our course policies to view the attendance and assessment criteria.
Upon completion of all 3 modules required for this programme within a maximum duration of 2 years, participants will be awarded a digital Executive Certificate in Risk Management Leadership.

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
