Overview
Embark on a fascinating journey to develop essential advisory skills and knowledge in philanthropy advisory. This course will empower you to detect the subtle signs of a client's philanthropic inclinations and stay updated with the latest global philanthropic themes and trends, including impact investing.
Gain basic advisory skills and knowledge in philanthropy advisory by detecting nuanced signs of a client's philanthropic tendencies, keeping pace with relevant global philanthropic themes and developments, and impact investing. Familiarise yourself with keywords and events that could indicate philanthropic interest from a client and the general knowledge of the ecosystem supporting such activities.<br />
Be adept at identifying the philanthropic needs of prospective donors and support the identification of philanthropic objectives in their clients and offer insightful advisory.

- Demonstrate the abilities under Level 3 of the Philanthropy Advisory TSC
Assessment
At the end of the course, participants will be assessed on their competencies acquired through the learnings via a quiz.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

IBF - STS Funding
Standards Training Scheme
The IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS) provides funding for training and assessment programmes accredited under the Skills Framework for Financial Services. It is applicable for both Company-Sponsored and Non Company-Sponsored individuals.
For training programmes commencing from 1 Jan 2023:- Individuals must be physically based in Singapore.
- Singapore Citizens and PRs will be eligible for 50% funding of direct training cost.
- Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above will be eligible for 70% co-funding of direct training cost.
- Funding amount is capped at S$3,000 per participant per course.
- Course fees subsidies will not apply to self-sponsored individuals who are not employed by financial institutions and Singapore FinTech Association certified FinTech firms for critical core skills (generic /soft skills) and future-enabled skill only courses.
- Trainees are only eligible for a one-time grant of course fee subsidies for the course per calendar year, subject to their successful completion of the course.

Participants are encouraged to access the IBF MySkills Portfolio to track their training progress and skills acquisition against the Skills Framework for Financial Services. You can apply for IBF Certification after fulfilling the required number of Technical Skills and Competencies (TSCs) for the selected job role.
