PREREQUISITES
Participants must ideally have at least 2 years of work experience in financial services or foundational finance industry knowledge.
Overview
Participants will explore their individual leadership strengths, develop the critical skills needed to lead diverse stakeholders through change, and strengthen their digital fluency to confidently leverage AI and emerging technologies in decision-making, collaboration and talent development.
Through experiential activities, AI-powered simulations and practical leadership scenarios, participants will gain the capabilities to lead high-performing finance teams, navigate organisational transformation and future-proof their careers in a world increasingly faced with disruptions and opportunities brought about by technological advancements, sustainability challenges and geopolitical fragmentation.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
- Identify their leadership strengths using the Gallup CliftonStrengths® framework and apply complementary team strengths to build high-performing finance teams capable of leading digital transformation and organisational change
- Apply stakeholder management, communication, collaboration and influence skills to engage senior leadership on issues spanning technology, sustainability and geopolitical risk, and drive technology-enabled business transformation across functions
- Demonstrate digital fluency by understanding how Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and emerging digital technologies are reshaping finance roles, workforce capabilities and future career pathways, while responding effectively to sustainability transition and geopolitical developments
- Leverage AI-powered tools, digital technologies and simulations to enhance leadership decision-making, coaching, communication and team performance, enabling organisations to navigate technological, sustainability and geopolitical disruption
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Employer Sponsored
Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
- Trainees are eligible for ETSS funding only if their company's SME status is approved prior to the course commencement date. To verify your SME's status, please click here.
