Overview
The Foreign Exchange (FX) market is the single largest financial market in the world with a global turnover of more than $6 trillion per day. With globalised trades in goods and services as well as overseas investments abound, demand for foreign exchange transactions, management & hedging of FX exposures as well as trading & risk management of FX in various asset classes have become an integral part of many businesses and investments.
This module deals with the executionary aspects of transacting in the Foreign Exchange market for speculative and exposure management purposes. The 2-day course seeks to impart foundation knowledge on FX trading platforms, the trading process and risk management considerations, both from retail and institutional perspectives.

Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
