Who Should Attend

All experienced professionals who are involved with or have an interest in providing better healthcare services through enhanced knowledge and implementation of Digital Health initiatives.

Pre-requisites

Participants should have:

  • a degree from a recognised university; and
  • minimum 2 years working experience in healthcare or healthcare related sector

Overview

Technology has transformed healthcare delivery but to varying degrees of impact and utility for different stakeholders. This creates the need for the shift of leadership mindset from a “know-it-all” to a “learn-it-all” – vital for building trust and providing psychological safety within the organisation.

This module will take participants through a process of understanding the impact of technology / digitalisation on the key stakeholders and at the same time, provide insights into how to manage the leadership journey. Focusing first on the leaders’ mindset, we propose a change from a "know-it-all" mindset to a "learn-it-all" mindset to enable the leader to set the tone in navigating in the digital world. From there, we will provide tools to help participants diagnose and overcome the barriers to the digital journey that key stakeholders are concerned with. We will also focus on formal means and informal means of influence as true transformation is only possible when goals are well aligned and stakeholders collaborate.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • recognise that organisation excellence is a concerted effort.
  • understand who owns leadership and why traditional leadership practices won’t work.
  • develop and build informal means of influence through technology and networks at all levels to facilitate purposeful collaboration across domains and areas.
  • encourage and harness distributed leadership for wider employee engagement to build a leaner and more agile organisation culture for exceptional organisational performance.
